Acquisition of Lithuanian Citizenship by birth is possible in the following circumstances:

1. You have given birth to a Child, and you are a Citizen of the Republic of Lithuania, then your Child will acquire citizenship of Lithuania by birth regardless of whether your child was born in Lithuanian territory or outside Lithuania.
2. You have given birth to a Child, but the Parent who was a citizen of the Republic of Lithuania was deceased prior to the birth of the child, then your Child will acquire citizenship of Lithuania by birth regardless of whether your child was born in Lithuanian territory or outside Lithuania.
