The Global Talent Independent Program (Global Talent Visa Australia) was officially launched on 4 November 2019. It offers a streamlined, priority visa pathway for highly skilled and talented individuals to work and live permanently in Australia. Note that the planning level Quota of places for GTI has been increased to 15,000 in the budget announced in October 2020 for the program year 2020 2021.
